A few days ago, I had a conversation with a working mom. She said it would be nice to stay at home and be able to watch TV- WAIT A MINUTE! TV? Are you kidding? It maybe so for some moms, but that just isn't reality in my house.
It's easy to forget how much work a baby is. Never mind about the sleeping and eating part. If you have a child like mine, who is a cat-napper, getting anything done is a dragged-out task. And I'm a clean person, I like dishes put away, the floors cleaned, laundry folded, ect.
I don't even know where the day goes because there is always work to do, not to mention my writing job that is also a priority. So, to those who believe stay-at-home moms are watching soaps and giving themselves foot baths and painting their nails, think again!
