After my son eats breakfast, he's playing on a mat while I run the treadmill. I had to get off five times during a 35-minute session to wipe a nose, throw a piece a toast in the oven for my kindergartener and redirect my baby so he's playing safely. Once we're all showered and dressed, it's off to school, running, because the bell just rang and I hate being late for anything. We get home and I take my preschooler to ballet. She loves her slippers so much she doesn't want to take them off, but when she does, the bow comes off, and she thinks they are no good, until I get out my sewing kit and start stitching the bow back on while I'm making soup and getting my baby's lunch prepared. I could go on, but my day is just like another other mom. There is always lots to do with so little time.
And now as I look at the clock, I have an hour and a half before I run to pick up my daughter from school. With my preschooler playing and baby napping, this is my time to write with a cup of coffee of course!
Cheers to a good weekend!
